The Secret Book Swap - North Berwick - October 2026

Wrap up and bring along a book, tell us why we should read it, then swap with another book lover. Plus games, readings & a guest author! We don't judge a book by it's cover! We do bring a book we're ready to pass on, enjoy good book chat & pick up a new book to take home. Here’s how it works • Choose a book you've read, enjoyed and are ready to pass on; • Wrap it up (keep it simple or go fancy, it's up to you) and bring it along. • On the night we'll each introduce our book to the group and why we liked it.... just remember not to share the author or title! • At the end we'll get a chance to each pick a book before we all unwrap them together and discover our new book! And there’s more…We'll also be joined by a guest author, Angela C Nurse who will be sharing her own writing journey with us and talking about her DI Ravenscroft & Professor Laing Thrillers, Plus, we'll enjoy a bookish themed parlour game and listen to our latest banned book reading. We are delighted to be hosted at St Columba's Bookshop and Cafe. A portion of our ticket sales will go to them each time we meet.
