An Evening with Thomas D. Lee - Knutsford

Sunday Times bestseller Dr Thomas D. Lee joins us to discuss his Arthurian inspired books. We are delighted to welcome Dr Thomas D. Lee to Knutsford to discuss both his debut novel Perilous Times and newly released The Knight Watch. Inspired by Arthurian legend, Thomas brings something utterly original to the table. A contemporary take on the knights of the round table, full of heart and humour. Dr Thomas D. Lee is an author of fantastical and historical fiction. His debut novel Perilous Times was a Sunday Times bestseller, and the prequel The Knight Watch was published in June 2026. He holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester’s Centre for New Writing, specialising in queer retellings of the Arthurian mythos. When he’s not writing his hobbies included reading, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and letting his cup of tea go cold. Doors are at 6pm.
