Whether you’re looking for a festive girls’ night out, some quality time with your mum or daughter, a Christmas activity with friends, or simply fancy doing something creative for yourself, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, informal and enjoyable. Absolutely no floristry experience is needed. I’ll guide you through the entire process step by step, and by the end of the workshop you’ll leave carrying a beautiful Christmas wreath that you’ve created yourself. What to expect during your two-hour workshop We’ll start by getting everyone settled with tea, coffee and something sweet, before introducing the materials and seasonal foliage we’ll be using. I’ll demonstrate each stage of the wreath-making process before you have a go yourself. You’ll learn how to prepare your wreath base, condition and arrange fresh foliage, build shape and texture and secure everything correctly to create a full, abundant wreath. Once the foliage base is complete, the really creative part begins! You’ll be able to add beautiful seasonal decorations, natural textures and festive details, before finishing your wreath with ribbon and those all-important final touches. I’ll be on hand throughout the workshop to demonstrate techniques, answer questions and help whenever you need it. Your wreath doesn't have to look exactly like anyone else's. Part of the fun is choosing how you arrange your materials and creating something that suits your own Christmas style. Who is the workshop for? Everyone! You don't need to have arranged flowers or made a wreath before. The workshop is designed to be suitable for complete beginners, while still giving you the freedom to be creative if you've tried floristry before. Come with your friends for a festive evening, make it a mother-and-daughter Christmas date, bring your sister or partner, or come by yourself. Solo attendees are very welcome and the workshops are deliberately relaxed and sociable. A little bit of Christmas in the Staffordshire countryside ✨ Our workshops take place at Emmie Lou’s Floristry Design in Sugnall, Staffordshire, in a beautiful rural setting just outside Eccleshall. Sugnall is well placed for visitors travelling from Eccleshall, Stafford, Stone, Newport, Market Drayton, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding Staffordshire and Shropshire areas. As we're in the countryside, travelling by car is recommended. Please allow a little extra time for the country roads and aim to arrive approximately 10 minutes before your workshop begins so everyone can get comfortable before we start.
