LIGHT-HEARTED | Celebrating the People Who Bring Light to Crewe

An evening of laughter, inspiring stories and community celebration! Join local charities and community organisations at LIGHT-HEARTED ! Wednesday 11 November 2026 | The Platform, Crewe An evening of laughter, extraordinary stories and the people bringing light into our communities. We all know what it feels like to stand in the cold and the dark. Yet, even in the darkest moments, there are people quietly doing extraordinary things to bring hope, restore dignity and remind others that they are not alone. And we think the charity sector is full of fireworks. 🎆 Every day, local charities, community organisations, volunteers and dedicated teams are transforming lives in ways that deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated. From life-changing breakthroughs to small acts of kindness, these are the moments that illuminate our communities. Sometimes, we're so busy doing the work that we forget to look up and appreciate just how remarkable it is. LIGHT-HEARTED is your invitation to do just that. Join us at The Platform in Crewe for a special evening bringing together local charities and community organisations to celebrate the people, stories and moments making a real difference across our communities. Expect laughter, connection, inspiring storytelling and a celebration of the extraordinary work happening right on our doorstep. We are delighted to welcome comedian Andy Kind, who will bring a healthy dose of laughter to the evening. LIGHT-HEARTED is proudly made possible thanks to the generous support of Crewe Town Council. ✨ Come for the laughter. Stay for the stories. Leave inspired. Whether you work for a charity, volunteer in your community, support a local cause or simply believe in the power of people coming together, LIGHT-HEARTED is an opportunity to connect, celebrate and recognise the good happening all around us. Let's take an evening away from the everyday demands of our work. Let's celebrate one another, share our successes and remind ourselves that, even when the world feels dark, there is still so much light. Because when we come together, we don't just witness the fireworks. We become part of the light. 📅 Date: Wednesday 11 November 2026 📍 Venue: The Platform, Crewe 🎤 Featuring: Comedian Andy Kind 🎆 Special celebration: The Firework Story showcase and Firework of the Year Award We'd love you to be part of it.
