SPOTSS Universal Training. Face to Face

Universal training for Cheshire school staff to increase knowledge supporting autistic pupils with sensory processing differences. The day will cover an introduction to autism and autism inclusive strategies, be able to understand the 8 sensory systems and how it can impact on a child's day and encourage participants to think about their own sensory processing. We use the Person, Environment Occupation model as a framework to support understanding through out the training. The afternoon session looks at a range of strategies for the school environment. By the end of the day you will have the tools to write a Foundation Sensory Support plan in consultation with parents, for a child in your class or school with a set aim to support the child's wellbeing. Open to any member of school staff across the Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester area. For any queries, please email [email protected]
