Author and illustrator Jack Lewis, whose family lived in Aberfan, has created this new graphic novel about his family's experience. An extremely moving and personal book, Aberfan: A Family Story documents the worst mining-related disaster in British history from the perspective of a single family. Jack Lewis introduces his new graphic novel recalling his family's own experience of the tragedy. The event will also feature a live illustration from Jack. Copies of the book will be for sale at the event through Jack.
