Sunday M.A.S.S Weekly Dance

A space for free-form, somatic movement. Inspired by the medicine of Ecstatic Dance and 5Rhythms. Everyone is welcome. No experience needed! Join us at Llandeilo Fawr Civic Hall for a somatic dance session that will get you out of your head and into your body. If you’re feeling stuck, heavy, or weighed down, come and shake it off... If you're celebrating life or simply want to connect to community... OR anything in between... Sunday M.A.S.S. is for you! No dance skills or experience needed; come exactly as you are to Move, Attune, Stretch, and Shake. Leave any rigid ideas of what "dance" is supposed to look like at the door. We’ll start with a short somatic practice to ground ourselves and bring awareness into the physical moment. From there, we have a large, softly lit space to lose ourselves in the music and connect with the room at our own pace. Expect a wide selection of heart-centred and cathartic music that may include ambient, folk, electronica, tribal, house, techno, downtempo, classical, pop mashups, funk, soul, and drum & bass. Every facilitator brings their own unique flavour to the wave.
