Women Out There Coastal Walk – Ogmore-by Sea

Cold cheeks, coastal views and a cafe stop—lush! Women Out There is hosting its first community walk, wanna join? Join Women Out There for a coastal walk from Ogmore-by-Sea to Southerndown and back, with a midway stop at Welsh Coffee Company. A chance to get outside and meet some lovely like-minded women along the way. Come solo or bring a friend. If you’re coming on your own and feeling a little nervous, I promise you won’t be the only one! That’s why Women Out There exists. We’ll walk together at a sociable pace, with time to take in the views and get to know each other. No pressure to be the fastest or have all the fancy gear. 🥾 The details • Date and time: Saturday 31st October '26 at 10 am. • Meeting point: Ogmore by Sea car park here. • Distance and terrain: Approximately 8km with a stop at Welsh Coffee Co. • Approximate finish: 1 pm Bring comfy, sturdy walking shoes, a warm layer, waterproofs and some water. It’s the coast, so prepare for a bit of wind! The walk is completely free; just pay for your own coffee or anything you fancy at the café. Please book a spot so I know who’s joining us. It’s about getting outside, trying new things and finding your people along the way. From local walks to weekends away, we’re bringing women together for fresh air and a bit of adventure. You don’t need to be super outdoorsy or know anyone already. Come solo or with a friend; we’d love to have you along. A note on our community walks Free WOT community walks are hosted by Jules, who has completed Mountain Leader training and is working towards assessment. Jules is not yet a qualified Mountain Leader. Events led by qualified guides will be clearly identified. Outdoor activities involve risks, including uneven ground and changing weather. Please read each event’s details, make sure it suits your health, fitness and ability, and bring suitable clothing and footwear. You’re responsible for your own transport and belongings. Routes may change, or events may be cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.
