Big Battlefield Walks Weekend - Battle of Roundway Down 1643

A morning walk across the field of this important English Civil War battle where royalist cavalry decisively defeated a parliamentarian army To encourage interest in battlefield heritage, the Battlefields Trust and its partner organisations are arranging a series of battlefield walks in September 2026. Come and join the Battlefields Trust to explore this Civil War battle which took place in 1643.
