Nature-loving readers gather around a fire to read and share responses to selected books like *Braiding Sweetgrass* and *Where the Crawdads Sing*. Hot drinks are provided during these evening sessions held in a barn or the woods. The event welcomes assistance dogs but remains dog-free otherwise.

An opportunity to read and share responses to books with other nature loving readers. We will meet around a fire, either in our barn when it's cooler, or out in the woods on warmer evenings. Hot drinks provided - donations for these are welcome. The dates and books for 2026 are: 23 April - Robert MacFarland's Is a River Alive? (out in paperback on 3 March) 11 June - Robin Wall Kimmerer Braiding Sweetgrass 30 July - Delia Owens Where the Crawdads Sing 17 September - Helen Macdonald H is for Hawk The session is free to attend but please book a space so that we know how many to expect.
