Join Canon, Fotospeed & landscape photographer Jack Lodge for an immersive two-day photography experience, taking you through the complete creative process; from capturing stunning landscape images in the field to producing exhibition-quality prints. This hands-on workshop is designed for photographers who want to improve their shooting techniques, refine their editing workflow, and gain confidence in producing professional-quality prints. What You'll Learn: Over two days, you'll discover how to: • Capture compelling landscape images in Savernake Forest Wiltshire • Develop a streamlined post-processing workflow using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop • Prepare images for print with colour and tonal accuracy • Understand how to use Canon’s Professional Print & Layout software to print directly from Adobe • Produce high-quality prints using Canon printers and a wide selection of Fotospeed papers Day 1 – Capture We'll head into the beautiful landscapes of Savernake Forest and surrounding areas, focusing on: • Landscape composition and storytelling • Panoramic photography techniques • Exposure control and dynamic range • Working with changing light conditions Bring your own equipment or loan from Canon on the day, with Canon’s experts with you it’s the best time to try something new or ask about your existing gear. Throughout the session, Jack will provide practical guidance, demonstrations, and support to help you create a strong portfolio of images ready for editing and printing for day 2. Group Dinner Relax with Jack and the team at the Marlborough Country Inn, dinner will consist of a 2 course set menu with 2 drinks. Day 2 – Edit & Print Using the images you captured on Day 1, we'll move to the Fotospeed office to explore: • Image selection and workflow • Editing techniques for landscape photography • Preparing files for print • Colour management fundamentals • Layout, sizing & colour controls using Canon’s Professional Print & Layout software • Fine art printing with Canon printers • Paper selection & ICC profiles using the Fotospeed range Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the complete image-making process and a selection of professionally printed photographs to take home. Included: • Two days of tuition with Jack Lodge • 5 Hours of shooting, with Canon camera/lens loans available • Dinner with Jack & the team at the Marlborough Country Inn • Hands-on editing and printing with your own computer or loan one from Canon • Canon led learning on Professional Print & Layout software • Access to Fotospeed papers • Lunch • Printed images to take home including a panoramic print • Workshop exclusive camera, lens, printer and paper offers Excluded: • Insurance (health, accident, and equipment) • Accommodation • Transport on both days of the workshop • Suitable clothing, waterproofs, walking shoes and tripods Additional Information: When purchasing a ticket please select the printer model you own or want to print on, as this will be setup for you on the day. If you require a Mac or Windows PC, this can be requested on the booking form upon purchase. This also includes any Canon camera/lens equipment you want to loan for the capture day.
