Cycle Checks and Small Repairs

Cycle checks and small repairs at the Chippenham Repair Cafe. Bring your bike for cycle checks and small repairs at the Chippenham Repair Cafe in partnership with Zero Chippenham, Share and Repair Bath & Cycle Chippenham. We'll be offering • small bike checks, adjustments and repairs (circa 20 mins) • refreshments • We carry some consumables such as inner tubes or brake pads in exchange for a donation on the day, or buy your own in advance or on the day at a local Cycle shop such as Cycology or Halfords (Chippenham), or Spindles (Corsham) • FREE updated printed Chippenham Cycle Maps • Repairer volunteer time is freely given, but we welcome donations on the day to keep the repair cafe going. So if you need a new inner tube or brake pads and we have them we can repair them in exchange for a donation for consumables Think minor repairs, checks or adjustments that take approximately 20 minutes. We expect to have three repair volunteers on the day and Repair Cafes have an element of learning where you can follow the repair through. Though we are happy for people to just turn up on the day, we prioritise those that have reserved a timeslot, so we'd really appreciate you reserving a FREE timeslot ticket to give us an idea of numbers, and turn up around your time slot as we don't have much space. (Please don't book a later time slot then turn up at 10am! ). We'll also have FREE printed updated Chippenham Cycle maps available. So bring your bike and join us for the Chippenham Repair Cafe! We've added three times slots to help with logistics. We look forward to meeting you all! Please don't use the main Red archway entrance to the Cause - use the second entrance past the Cause frontage where there is a corridor to the courtyard where our repairers are. Please don't leave bikes in this corridor as it's a fire exit. There are hoops set in the inside of the low walls between the two entrances where you can lock your bikes if needed.
