World-class musicians bring transcendent beauty and emotive storytelling to the dusk-bathed stones of this historic haven. Now in its 26th year, the Oxford Chamber Music Festival returns with New Worlds. "Two Americas, One Storm" brings together European Romanticism and South American passion. Programme includes: • Ludwig van Beethoven - String Quintet in C major, Op. 29 ‘Storm’ • Arthur Foote (1853–1937) - Night Piece for Flute and String Quartet • Astor Piazzolla (1921–1992) - Tango Sensations for Bandoneón and String Quartet All in a special Cotswolds setting, where world-class players are unusually close up.
