Parenting - the Primary Years

As parents and carers, we all want to the do the very best we can for our children. Sometimes chatting with other parents and thinking through our parenting styles and methods can be really helpful. This is not a course put on by experts - we are parents too, and we want to use resources we have found helpful (professionally produced by experienced charity Care for the Family) to create a safe and encouraging space where together we can listen, chat, learn from one another and support one another - and hopefully gain some helpful insights and tips along the way! The resources provide opportunities to be honest about what parenting can really be like, to think about what children really need, consider how we can best meet those needs and any changes we might like to make. We will look at the information and questions together and discuss in pairs or as a group - sharing as much or little as we feel comfortable with from our own experiences.
