Festive Bauble Lino-Printing Workshop

Join local printmaker Layla for a festive day of lino printmaking at beautiful Trebah Gardens. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to design, carve and print your own lino blocks, creating unique wooden decorations inspired by the natural world. Drawing inspiration from Trebah’s beautiful garden and the shapes, textures and patterns found in nature, you’ll develop your own festive designs before carving them into lino and experimenting with hand-printing onto wooden baubles. You’ll learn how to transfer your design, safely carve your lino and create beautiful prints by hand. Whether you’re completely new to lino printing or have had a go before, Layla will guide you through each stage of the process in a friendly and supportive workshop. You’ll finish the day with a collection of hand-printed wooden decorations to take home, perfect as a thoughtful Christmas gift or simply to enjoy on your own tree! All materials are provided. No previous printmaking experience is necessary. Home Printing Kits are not available to purchase at this workshop.
