The Active Looking Project presents - Festive Cyanotype

Try your hand at one of the earliest photographic processes and take away your handmade Christmas cards Create unique, handmade Christmas cards using cyanotype, one of the earliest photographic processes. Experiment with festive stencils and shapes to make 3 blue-and-white Christmas cards. No experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Cyanotype is one of the earliest forms of photography that uses iron salts and exposure to UV light. The chemistry is low-toxicity; you may wish to bring an apron and gloves if your hands are sensitive. If you have access requirements, get in touch to discuss, we want to see you at our events.
