The Travelling Teapot: Zimbabwe

A Journey Through Tea, Culture & Community The Travelling Teapot A Journey Through Tea, Culture & Community Tea has been bringing people together for thousands of years. Across the world, every culture has its own unique traditions, rituals and stories connected to sharing tea. Whether offered as a gesture of hospitality, friendship, celebration or reflection, tea has an extraordinary way of creating connection beyond language, culture and background. The Travelling Teapot is a new monthly gathering from Inspiring Women Network, inviting our community to explore tea traditions from different cultures around the world through storytelling, conversation and shared experience. Each month, we will visit a different country or culture, learning about the history, customs and meaning behind its tea traditions while creating a welcoming space to slow down, connect with others and celebrate the diversity within our community. 🍵 Our Journey: Zimbabwe For our second gathering, one of you lovely members, Fungai will introduce us to the practice of Tea in Zimbabwe. Wednesday 28th October | 10:00am – 12:00pm 📍 Venue: Truro, Venue TBC Whether tea has always been part of your life or you're simply curious to learn, we warmly invite you to join us "Through tea, we make friends." - Chinese proverb
