WILD HOLIDAY BUNCH

Outdoor holiday club for children aged 6+ Birmingham's popular all outdoor kids-only holiday club is back at Pitts Wood this halfterm for one session filled with fun nature crafts, active games and explorations, making new friends as well as a healthy, vegetarian snack cooked together on the campfire! Groups are kept small for everyone to feel comfortable. Activities are developped with children aged 6+ in mind and the days are child-led, with the support of two experienced, DBS-checked forest school practitioners. Please note this site does not have any toilet facilities. We will use the facilities at Quinborne Community Centre. Drop off at 10am, pick up at 12.30pm, at Pitts Wood (locally known as The Spinney), Overdale Road, entrance between number 46-50, Quinton, Birmingham, B32 2QR. Thanks to our funders, all ticket types are pay-what-you-can but we ask for a minimum donation of £2 per child. A place on our Wild Holiday Bunch programme usually costs £15 per child per session, but we want carers to feel comfortable paying what they feel they can afford whilst valuing the efforts put into creating these sessions. Please be mindful that tickets will need to be reserved for each child and Eventbrite will ask for a donation each time. Getting there: Overdale Road is a residential road with limited public parking space. We recommend using active travel or public transport. By bike/foot: Use the Bournbrook Path, then Minton Road before crossing Western Blvd into Firsby Road and right into Overdale Road. By bus: Numbers 24 and 10 stop less than 10min walk away from Overdale Rd. For more info email [email protected] or call 0121 794 3015.
