A heartwarming, hilarious musical about friendship, courage, sunflowers, an unforgettable calendar... and some remarkably big buns! Stagedoor Academy presents Calendar Girls The Musical! Grab the kettle, find some remarkably big buns, and prepare for a night of fun, friendship and a little bit of mischief. Calendar Girls The Musical, by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth, is the heartwarming and hilarious story of a group of ordinary women who decide to do something rather extraordinary. What starts as a fundraising idea for a good cause soon becomes a local sensation, as friendship, bravery and a certain now-famous calendar take centre stage. So bring your friends, bring your mum, bring your WI... and come and spend an evening with the ladies of Calendar Girls. We promise plenty of laughs, a few tears and considerably more strategically placed props than your average musical.
