Foraging Skills - Fryston Country Trails

This is a free session for people to learn and develop skills in natural foraging, ran by foraging specialist Edulis Wild Food. Learn which plants that can be found in your local green spaces are safe to eat, what preparation they may need and what other purposes they may have. The session includes a slow walk around the country park, with plenty of opportunity to identify species, sketch, make notes and ask questions. Please bring your own lunch, as there will be opportunity to have a lunch break. Tea and coffee will be provided, and there may be the opportunity to try nettle tea. This is an outdoor activity which includes a slow walk, so please dress accordingly.
