Forest Therapy & Breathwork: Woodland Immersion in York

We’ll begin by meeting at Melbourne Village Hall at 10am, before travelling together to the woodland. Once we arrive, there’s no rushing. We’ll slow the pace, explore the woods, notice what’s growing around us and forage along the way. You’ll be invited to use your senses, get curious about the natural world and experience the woodland in a completely different way. We’ll take time for a Japanese tea ceremony, using the preparation and drinking of tea as a simple ritual to pause and become present. There will also be creative sylvotherapy practices and a guided meditation, followed by breathwork designed to help you settle, breathe and properly switch off. You don't need any experience of meditation, breathwork, foraging or forest therapy. Just come dressed for the outdoors and ready to spend a couple of hours away from screens, schedules and everyday noise. This is time to slow down, breathe deeply, get your hands amongst nature and simply be in the woods.
