Brought to you by YSJ’s Fashion Marketing students, this must-see fashion show with the theme 'Frozen in Time' is a celebration of nostalgia, inclusivity and charity spearheaded by local York non-profit organisation, Community Bees. Bringing awareness to hoarding in the UK, Community Bees aims to assist and uplift the most isolated people in our community, as well as provide a safe and liveable space to start fresh. Your ticket will help fund the vital work of Community Bees and support those desperately in need of a helping hand. The doors to YSJ’s Creative Centre auditorium will open at 5pm, the fashion show starts at 6pm. Every look on the runway will be hand-picked from Community Bees’ treasure-trove of garments, elevating and breathing life into long-forgotten pieces. Additionally, all paid tickets will be entered into a raffle where one lucky attendee will win a grand prize. Don’t miss the exclusive show night pop-up stall, where you can take home your favourite looks alongside a selection of additional items. Parking There is no parking for any vehicles on site and ANPR cameras are in operation 24/7. We have a small number of Blue Badge spaces available, these spaces can only be used if guests have pre registered their number plates by emailing [email protected]. Registering your details does not guarantee a space, as they operate on a first come, first served basis. Please ensure your blude badge is displayed clearly in the vehicle. Events Access At York St John University we are committed to making our events as welcoming and inclusive for as many people as possible. If you have any any specific access requirements, please get in touch with the event organisers. Please also note that our upstairs seating (balcony seating) is not recommended for people with limited mobility.
