Full description from organizerShow less
Free acting for Selby lads. Beginners welcome, old hands too. Try new things, have a laugh and feel a bit more yourself. Think acting's not for you? Think again. This free Selby class is all about having a go, being daft and finding your confidence. Beginners and old hands welcome. Come for a brew, play some games, meet good people and leave feeling a bit taller. This event is part of our BIG STRONG MAN project - a community-led men’s mental health programme delivered across Scarborough and Selby. The workshops explore themes of men’s mental health, loneliness and suicide prevention through meaningful engagement activity: celebrating the area, signposting participants to support services, teaching them creative ways to manage their mental wellbeing and campaigning for social change.
