See Ghana's wildlife. Help protect it. Join Earth Care Ghana, Earth Care Ghana is a Ghanaian non-governmental organisation dedicated to protecting the nation's natural ecosystems while strengthening the capacity of local communities to thrive sustainably. Founded by Ghanaian conservation practitioners, the organisation works at the intersection of biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and community development. Through a combination of field-based conservation, environmental education, applied research, and policy engagement, Earth Care Ghana addresses the root causes of environmental degradation — habitat loss, unsustainable land use, and limited access to conservation knowledge. Our work is grounded in science but driven by people, ensuring that conservation solutions are practical, inclusive, and locally owned. Across Ghana's forests, farmlands, and ecologically sensitive landscapes, Earth Care Ghana partners with communities, institutions, and stakeholders to restore degraded habitats, promote sustainable livelihoods, and safeguard biodiversity for future generations. We believe long-term environmental protection is only possible when communities are empowered with the skills, knowledge, and economic opportunities needed to manage natural resources responsibly. By integrating conservation with education, innovation, and advocacy, Earth Care Ghana is building resilient ecosystems and communities that can adapt to climate challenges while contributing meaningfully to Ghana's sustainable development goals.
