Δέκα χρόνια πριν ανοίξαμε έναν χώρο με μια φιλοδοξία: κάθε άνθρωπος, κάθε ηλικίας, να έχει πρόσβαση στα εργαλεία και τις γνώσεις που χρειάζεται για να υλοποιήσει τις ιδέες του. Από τότε: περισσότερα από 280 σεμινάρια ενηλίκων. 90 σχολικά προγράμματα STEAM. Υποδεχτήκαμε 85 διαφορετικά μέλη. Έργα με 5 δήμους. Πάνω από 1,3 τόνοι πλαστικού ανακυκλώθηκαν και πάνω από 2 τόνοι CO2 εξοικονομήθηκαν.

Το Makers Fest σηματοδοτεί μια δεκαετία από projects, συνεργασίες, γνώσεις που μοιραστήκαμε και ιδέες που πήραν μορφή. Καλωσορίζουμε όσους υπήρξαν μέρος αυτής της διαδρομής, καθώς και ανθρώπους που εκτιμούμε ιδιαίτερα και ενδιαφέρονται για το έργο μας. Τις πρώτες ώρες θα λειτουργούν ζωντανά 4 από τα εργαστήρια μας. Μια μοναδική ευκαιρία να ξανασυναντηθούμε, να γνωρίσουμε makers από διαφορετικά αντικείμενα και να δούμε από κοντά τη δουλειά, τα εργαλεία και το πνεύμα που διαμόρφωσαν το Athens Makerspace όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.
