Heart Failure management: from research and scientific evidence to game-changing innovation in clinical practice After five and a half years, RETENTION is opening its doors. On 9 October 2026 we are in Athens, at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, to put on the table what a Horizon 2020 project has actually produced for heart failure care: a working remote monitoring platform integrating clinical and real-world data analytics for perosnalised intervention, a randomised clinical trial with 390 patients run across 6 hospitals in 4 European countries, and an honest conversation about what it takes to move any of this into routine practice.
