INVESTOR HOUSE × ART BASEL HONG KONG THE ART OF CAPITAL For a few days each March, Hong Kong becomes one of the world's great meeting points for money, imagination and taste. Investor House will move through the city with it. Not as another conference. Not as another procession of champagne receptions. We are creating a series of intimate encounters in unexpected rooms across Hong Kong — collector dinners, private salons, artist breakfasts, late-night debates, hidden tables, screenings and conversations that may begin with a painting and end somewhere entirely different. Each gathering will have its own partners and its own muses: artists, collectors, family offices, founders, designers, filmmakers, technologists and people who are difficult to put into any of those categories. The artwork is sometimes the subject. Sometimes it is simply the excuse for getting extraordinary people into the same room. THE PRIVATE VIEW OF THE FUTURE Instead of viewing existing work, guests encounter a handful of things most people have not seen yet: an artist, technology, material, company, piece of research or cultural idea that could become important over the next decade. BREAKFAST BEFORE THE PRICE GOES UP An early-morning gathering dedicated entirely to emerging artists, founders, technologies and ideas before consensus arrives. Everyone has to bring one thing they think the rest of the room is overlooking. MIDNIGHT AT THE MUSEUM After-hours art, film, music and conversation with no stage and no formal speaker programme. Guests discover the conversation as they move through the space. THE COLLECTOR'S DILEMMA Everyone is given an imaginary $1 million. One room offers art. Another technology. Another rare experiences. Another longevity. Another impact. Another cultural IP. At the end of dinner, everybody has to reveal where they put their money — and why. It becomes half investment committee, half philosophical experiment. HUMAN OR MACHINE? Nobody is told which artworks, music, writing, investment theses or designs were created by humans and which involved machines. We discover whether the room can actually tell.
