Mid-Autumn Festival Full Moon Sound Bath and Tea Ritual w/ Mooncake

Celebrate Mid-Autumn festival, a time of abundance, reunion, and renewal, with us! A full moon sound bath, tea ritual & vegetarian mooncake! Come celebrate Mid-Autumn festival with Sacred Space! During this time when the harvest moon is the brightest, communities and families gather in gratitude for all the blessings they've received. It's a festival of reunion with family and ancestors, wholeness, completion and balance through the natural cycles. We offer a space to explore this age old cultural tradition and allow ourselves the time to pause and see in our own lives how cycles of birth, death, and rebirth have helped us grow. ​We’ll begin with co-creating a container of safety through circle and introductions using angel cards. Then a tea ritual to calm our minds and bodies, nourish ourselves with natural medicine's from the tea, and prepare to be with stillness. We transition to a candle lighting intention. We'll gently settle into the night through a guided mindfulness meditation that leads into our sound bath using sound bowls, chimes, and other soothing instruments to use its vibrations to spread the medicinal properties of the tea throughout, and to help your body release tension and your mind soften from the week's stressors. We'll end again in circle and gratitude. Every attendee will receive a mooncake made by a local artisan, a cultural tradition eaten during this time.
