How to Stand Out from the Crowd at Interview NCHD Interview Masterclass Workshop Aims By the end of this 2-hour interactive workshop you will: · understand the interview process and the variables which impact interview success (including review of previous years success factors ) · know how to correct approach the 3 Ps of Interview Excellence (Plan, Prepare and Practice) and avoid wasting time with the wrong approaches · see opportunities in questions and have the knowledge of how to optimise those opportunities in a proactive manner · evidence based techniques for dealing with interview anxiety · understand the dynamics of the interviewee-interviewer relationship · a practical action plan for interview preparation Delivery Method This 2-hour practical and interactive workshop incorporates a multi modal blend of lecture style presentation with group and individual exercises which aims to optimise learning, and enable participants to leave the workshop with a practical action plan for interview preparation. She has been invited speaker and host for NNWR Careers Day and Interview Sessions, RCSI, Women in Cardiology, as well as ongoing work with NIHR Public Health England and the Wellcome Trust on Career Planning and Interviews.
