Christmas-themed Needle Felting Workshop

Needle Felt a 'wool landscape' In a 2.5 hour workshop, Needle Felting Artist, Emily Thompson will teach the unique approach of needle felting to create what she calls 'wool paintings'. This unique process involves the creation of a new fabric using wool and a small barbed needle. In the workshop Emily will introduce the materials, teach the technique of needle felting, and support everyone individually to create a 'wool painting'. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm! You will leave with your own piece and a new skill. In this workshop we will focus on creating winter scenes. Emily will have images to use as inspiration, or feel free to bring your own images. This piece can act as a mantel piece or Christmas wall decor to be taken out year after year. All materials provided. Ages 12+ due to the use of sharp needles.
