Join us at Folk Fest at the Fort for epic live tunes, tasty eats, and good vibes all weekend long! 2-5pm Elizabeth Fort Barrack Street, T12 C8A0 ‘Folk fest in the Fort’, Community Folk Event with Kalyna Ukranian Choir, Douglas Comhaltas, Fiona Kennendy, Club Ceoil Ballyphehane, Mexican Community Dance Group with Linda Quinlan as the MC. Free This is a concert in the 17th century old fort featuring: Fiona Kennedy one of Cork finest songwriters, Club Ceoil Ballyphehane Ballad Group: Club Ceoil run classes in traditional music, song and set dancing in Ballyphehane. Douglas Comhaltas Group they performed at last year’s Munster Fleadh organised by the Douglas Branch of CCÉ: Kalyna is a Ukrainian Choir based in Cork: A colourful dance group from the Mexican Community of Cork.
