Keywords for Digital Humanities vol. 1: Environment

An interdisciplinary dialogue on the concept of “Environment” across arts, sciences, and digital technologies. Keywords for Digital Humanities is a new series of interdisciplinary dialogues aimed at building an open, evolving lexicon at the intersection of the humanities, sciences, and digital technologies. Rather than offering static definitions, each session brings experts together to explore how shared concepts are transformed across different research methodologies and perspectives. For this inaugural event, we focus on the concept of “Environment”. Spanning Computer Graphics, Art History, Digital Humanities, Architecture, and Environmental Studies, this panel examines the multiple meanings, models, and implications of “Environment” in contemporary scholarship. This event is organised with the support of the Centre of Excellence of the Technological District for Cultural Heritage (CdE-DTC Lazio), following the CdE–DTC Lazio PhD Award conferred for the best doctoral dissertation.
