Reading Group: Panorama Europa

Over the course of an hour, you will be invited to read a text aloud together* and discuss its themes, ideas, and context in relation to select artworks. This month, we will be reading a text selected by artist Isabel Nolan whose work features in Panorama Europa. The chapter is titled 'Notes on Anger' from the book Some Answers Without Questions by Lavinia Greenlaw. Some Answers Without Questions is a blend of memoir and manifesto investigating how women and artists claim the authority to create without explicit invitation. Specifically, the chapter 'Notes on Anger' confronts personal struggles and systemic forces, showing how raw fury transforms into creative agency. You do not need to prepare anything in advance, and no specialist knowledge is required.
