A Celebration of Life & Music for Russell Taylor

Join us this November as we remember and celebrate the life and legacy of well known Dublin musician Russel Taylor. A Celebration of Life and Music for Russell Taylor, will take place on what would have been Russell's 58th birthday this coming November 22nd at The Purty Kitchen venue Dún Laoghaire. Russell was a much-loved and respected guitarist in the Dublin music scene for over four decades. He sadly passed away in December 2025, and so many of the musicians he played alongside throughout his life are coming together for one incredible evening in his honour. We have a fantastic line-up, including Big Digger, Groove Machine, the Richie Malone Band, Teenage Kicks, Donal Kirk & Jimmy Smyth, The Mark Bolton band, Paul Mc Guinness, The Black Roses and many more, all giving their time to celebrate Russell's life and music for what will be a very special night for all involved. The event will raise funds to support the work of the newly established Russell Taylor Foundation, which aims to create opportunities through music, photography, education and community initiatives for the future in memory of Russell and inspired by the kindness and compassion he showed to others throughout his life and career. We do hope to see you all there on the night to celebrate the life and legacy of 'Rusty' for what will be very special evening. We would like to thank everyone for their kindness to date and we look forward to celebrating Russell's memory with you all this coming November.
