Adult Workshop: Sensing the Plants - Sensory Drawing Session

Join artist Renata Pekowska for a drawing session which explores mark making as a way to describe visual and sensory experiences. Create drawings that respond to a sensory interaction with plants. Explore how non-visual information can be expressed through mark-making. This workshop with Renata will start with a short discussion, followed by sensing and drawing explorations. We will finish the workshop by arranging the drawings into patterns and compositions. Some plant material will be provided. Please bring some plants or collected plant material to draw, for yourself and to share with others. No experience necessary; drawing materials will be provided. Renata Pekowska is an artist and researcher based in Dublin, whose current practice investigates constructed situations of collective sensory drawing practices.
