Beginner Swimming for Adults — shallow water, no prior experience required. 18+ Deposit of €5 is fully refunded via Eventbrite after your attendance is taken at the event. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund to be issued. Beginner Swimming for Adults. Shallow water of 1.2 metres. No prior experience is required — this session is designed for adults taking their first strokes or building confidence in the water. Sport Ireland Campus, alongside partner National Governing Bodies of Sport, invite everyone to join a diverse weeklong programme of FREE events designed to open the Campus to new visitors and to promote active and healthy living. The Beactive Campus Open Week is a European Commission led initiative funded by Sport Ireland as part of European Week of Sport, which aims to increase the level of participation in sport and physical activity in the EU and beyond. Please note that this is a campus wide event, so please dress appropriately.
