Book Launch: Charlotte McManus's The Professor in Erin

Join us to celebrate the launch of The Professor in Erin by Charlotte McManus Join us to celebrate the launch of The Professor in Erin by Charlotte McManus. A German scholar exploring ruins hits his head in a fall. He wakes to find himself in a parallel universe: an Ireland that never was, free of English rule since winning the Battle of Kinsale. In this powerful, independent nation, Irish language and culture are flourishing. This landmark work is an important early example of utopian fiction and of Irish science fiction, and Tramp Press is proud to be presenting it to a new generation of readers through its Recovered Voices series. While this event is free, by making one of your tickets a 'Supporter's Ticket' you will be making a valuable contribution towards keeping future events accessible and towards the sustainable growth of Dublin Book Festival.
