Create Your Own Celtic art piece — Inspired by the Book of Kells

Get crafty and design your own glowing manuscript inspired by the epic Book of Kells—fun & hands-on! Create Your Own Celtic Artwork Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your very own illuminated manuscript page, inspired by the Book of Kells. This in-person event is perfect if you love art, history, or simply enjoy making something by hand. You'll learn about the colours, materials and decorative elements used by Celtic scribes and artists. You will then choose from a variety of Celtic designs from the Book of Kells, select your preferred paper and colour palette, and create your own unique illuminated manuscript page to take home. Set in the historic Pearse Centre, just a short walk from Trinity College, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Ireland's most celebrated artistic traditions in a beautiful and inspiring setting. All materials are provided. Coffee, tea and delicious cake are included. No previous experience is needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity!
