Get ready to crown the best Irish Coffee Maker in town at the Irish Coffee Champs 2026 COME AND WATCH IRELANDS BEST BARTENDERS & BARISTAS BATTLE IT OUT TO SEE WHO IS CROWNED THE IRISH COFFEE CHAMPION OF 2026 EVENT DETAILS • THURSDAY NOV 12TH • VICE COFFEE INC, WIGWAM, 54 MIDDLE ABBEY ST, D01E2X4 • 7PM - 9PM • TICKETS €10 include an Irish Coffee on arrival ( event is 18+) COMPETITOR DETAILS TO ENTER THE COMPETITION: The competition is open to all bartenders, baristas and non-industry professionals with a passion for all things coffee & booze related. Simply send your proposed Irish Coffee recipe to [email protected] by Nov 6th @ 6pm. Recipes must include Teeling Small Batch & El Puente from Imbibe Coffee The top 6 will be selected by our esteemed judging panel and will get to prepare their recipe on the night at Vice. They will receive a sample Irish Coffee pack in advance containing a small bottle of Teeling Small Batch & a 250g bag of El Puente coffee from Imbibe Coffee Roasters RULES: • You will have 10 mins to prepare 3 x identical Irish Coffees (1 for each judge) • Your Irish Coffee recipe must contain Teeling Small Batch Whiskey & El Peunte from Imbibe - check out the details of both ingredients though the links. • Competitors can add any extra ingredients - sugar, syrups, extra alcohol, brewed coffees or creams - however you must bring any extra ingredients with you for the competition - they will not be provided. • Max 50ml of alcohol per drink • You do not need to present or chat to the judges or audience while you are making the cocktails. However the emcee / host will interview you after you have prepared the drinks & you will have the opportunity to explain to the judges & audience about your recipe. • On the night - El Peunte espresso from Imbibe will be dialled in on a mythos grinder - with flavour notes of Red Apple, Cocao & Fudge. An espresso machine will be available for use. There will also be pre batched filter brewed coffee of the El Peunte from Imbibe if you wish to use that. A hot water font will be available if you wish to hand brew any extra coffee or pre warm any Irish Coffee glasses. You may also bring additional grinders & coffee - but bare in mind - you will have 5 mins set up time before your performance. • You can serve your Irish Coffees in any glassware / vessel you wish, however we will have 6.5 oz Irish Coffee coupes on hand that you may use if you wish. • Irish Coffees may be served hot or cold. • You can use any type of cream - it does not have to be dairy based. • Irish Coffees will be scored out of 10 based on / Visible appearance (3 points) / Taste (4 points) / Creativity (3 points) • SLAINTE
