Men's Circle - Mindful Éire

At Mindful Éire, our circles begin with a few minutes of breathing exercises to settle in to the space. After some short introductions and an agreement on keeping our spaces safe, we move in to a series of prompts for discussion. These prompts are unique to each circle but the main goal is to give each man opportunites to share and be heard. We close the circle with a short meditation to allow our bodies to relax and digest everything that came up for us during the circle. WHAT TO BRING: • Wear comfortable clothing • Warm jumper • Journal and pen (optional) • Refillable water bottle To make the most out of the evening it can be helpful to take some time in the days leading up to the event to check in with yourself. Maybe write down a few sentences about how you're feeling lately. What you hope to take away from the evening. You may feel some hesitations creeping in to your head as the event gets nearer. This is comletely normal and something that everyone experiences. Especially if it's your first time engaging in men's work. But just remember there is nothing expected of you. All you need to do is show up and allow yourself the time to focus on you. Please make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the circle starts to allow yourself time to settle in to the space.
