Full description from organizer

Join us for a morning around two haunting novels Join us for a morning around two haunting novels that explore the link between memory, remembering, motherhood and voices that linger across generations. Niamh Campbell’s Make Strange (W&N) is an emotionally charged family story where a child begins speaking of past lives and the time she died. In her distinctive, lyrical writing, Doireann Ní Ghríofa’s Said the Dead (Faber & Faber) blends history and ghost story as forgotten women's voices rise from an abandoned Cork hospital. The authors join author Belinda McKeon in conversation. Please note we may be capturing candid imagery at this event for use on our social media and website.
