On the Front Foot: launching the first report on AI in Irish SportsTech

Irish sportstech has been mapped before, and its funding has been counted. Nobody has looked at it through AI. On the Front Foot is the first report to do that: who is building with AI in Irish sport, who is buying it, who is funding it, and whether the talent is there to do any of it. The report is built on 16 in-depth interviews with founders, clubs, investors, player bodies and global technology companies, from Kitman Labs, Danu Sports and KinetikIQ to AWS, FIFPRO and Baskonia, with a short sector survey as context. It is produced by Sports D3c0d3d in association with TU Dublin, and it closes with twelve recommendations for governing bodies and clubs, industry, investors, and academia and policy. On Tuesday 8 December we launch it in Dublin.
