Supporting Grieving Children

Free public talk for anyone who supports bereaved children— family members, friends, or professionals who work with children & families. This talk will explore how bereaved children may experience and express grief, and offer practical guidance about supporting a child through bereavement. We will also look at how to recognise when a child may benefit from additional support. The event will include a panel of speakers, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions during a Question & Answer session. Keynote Speaker Liz Gleeson is an Irish psychotherapist, educator, and grief specialist with over 20 years of professional experience supporting individuals and communities through loss and trauma. She is the founder of Shapes of Grief, an internationally recognised platform offering grief education through an award-winning podcast and comprehensive online training programs.
