An intimate evening without borders Four years ago, in the heart of Carlow, Greek-Cypriot violinist pianist Marios Amerikanos and Polish pianist, guitarist and vocalist Aleksandra Poręba crossed paths. Their shared love of music grew into a sound of their own. Hear Greek ballads meet Polish folk, blues melt into jazz, and Middle Eastern melodies find their way into unexpected rhythms.Expect fresh interpretations of songs by iconic artists such as RAYE, Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone. Moving between languages, cultures and musical traditions, the duo blends soulful vocals, expressive violin, acoustic guitar, piano and funky instrumental interludes. From Mediterranean melodies to Eastern European influences and songs sung in multiple languages, their music celebrates cultures coming together.
