Join us for a fun session on connecting with kids using brainpower, heart, and a bit of hands-on magic! Communicating with children: using our heads, our hearts and our hands This session focuses on how we communicate with children. It will offer a research informed overview of current understandings of communicating with children and an experiential opportunity to explore different communicative approaches. Using Kitbag, a resource designed promote the emotional and social literacy of children (and our own) we will share ideas on how our communicative practices can become more child-centred and empathic. Come prepared to be theoretically informed and experientially expanded!
