Kilkenny Artists Cafe

Our regular get together for Kilkenny artists to meet up, share and chat over a cuppa. Kilkenny Artists Café How to get an exhibition Curated by Eamonn Maxwell Hosted by the Tea Houses Supported by Kilkenny Arts Office 10am, Saturday 31st October We're back! The Kilkenny Artists Café is an initiative aimed at creating an informal space for artists to come together and discuss issues, discover new approaches and meet other artists, over a cuppa! These sessions will take place in the Tea Houses on the last Saturday of each month, with a theme for each meet up. For the first session of the season we will gather and discuss that most important question - how do I get my work into exhibitions? We'll talk about open calls, networking and other approaches artists can take. Kilkenny Artists Café was created in response to artists saying they want more opportunity to meet with others. So these are your sessions and need your input! The Café is limited to 15 people each time so please book your ticket before all the spaces are snapped up (image: Amelia Caulfield)
