A Carrick on Suir Rugby Club Fundraiser- COSMIC FUNK BAND + DJ 'til late!!!

In conjunction with CARRICK RUGBY CLUB, COONEY'S BAR is delighted to welcome back THE COSMIC FUNK BAND!!!!!! Get ready to throw care to the last of your dignity and lose yourself to the gorge of boogie-night funk, with some of the filthiest grooves that birthed a generation of Shangri-La stroking dancefloor perverts. Led by disco aficionado, Johnny Disco, CFB delivers groin throbbing performances that salute the era defining disco of Gloria Gaynor, Chic, the Bee Gees, ABBA, Jackson 5 and the undisputed King of Funk, Mr. James Brown. Whether you're reliving the golden age of disco or discovering it for the first time, CFB guarantees a night of unadulterated boogie fever that will not leave a single jelly roll dry nor tent un-erect. Followed by the unmistakable block-party grind of DJ Dr. Phil, prepare to take a journey of self-discovery and denigration. Leave your better halves at home, this is a night of unresolved yearning and extasy not seen since a ‘90s kill disco. Don't miss your chance to experience the magic of CFB live, for the last time ever! You might end up regretting the alimony, but not the experience!!!
