Axess E3 Electric Bike The Axess E3 is a fully electric, four-wheeled adapted bike designed for riders who are unable to pedal. The bike is operated entirely by hand controls, using a twist-style throttle to move forward, slow down and stop. It offers excellent stability, a low step-through frame for easier access, and a comfortable upright seating position, making it suitable for people who may have lower-limb mobility impairments. This bike may be suitable for people who: • Adults Over 18 • Can transfer onto the bike independently or with minimal assistance • Have balance, coordination, or mild mobility difficulties • Are unable to pedal • Have good upper-body and hand control • Need a stable, supportive cycling option with no pedalling required The Axess E3 may not be suitable for individuals who: • Have a moderate to severe intellectual disability, where understanding instructions, hazards, or cause-and-effect may be limited • Are unable to safely operate hand controls, including twisting and releasing the throttle. • May have delayed reaction times, as the bike can reach higher speeds than other adapted bikes Mild intellectual disability may be suitable, subject to individual assessment.
