The workshop will be held in both English and Italian. Rallenta il ritmo e lasciati avvolgere dall’atmosfera tranquilla e accogliente dell’inverno, creando il tuo portaincenso in ceramica fatto a mano, ispirato all’estetica giapponese del wabi-sabi. Durante questo workshop lavorerai con due diversi colori di argilla dalla texture ruvida e imparerai la tecnica giapponese del neriage, combinando le due argille per creare pattern naturali e unici, simili al marmo. Successivamente realizzerai a mano il tuo portaincenso, modellando la forma e lasciando che le texture materiche e i motivi organici diventino parte del suo design. Il workshop è adatto anche ai principianti e non è richiesta alcuna esperienza precedente con la ceramica. Ti guideremo passo dopo passo durante tutto il processo, aiutandoti a scoprire la bellezza delle texture naturali, della semplicità e delle piccole imperfezioni. Ispirato ai materiali naturali, alle tranquille giornate invernali e all’atmosfera calda creata dall’incenso, questo workshop è un’esperienza creativa e rilassante da vivere da soli o in compagnia. Ogni pezzo sarà completamente unico. Dopo il workshop, il tuo portaincenso dovrà asciugarsi e passare attraverso la cottura in forno. Sarà pronto per essere ritirato in studio dopo alcune settimane, una volta completato tutto il processo. Slow down and embrace the quiet, cozy atmosphere of winter by creating your own handmade ceramic incense holder, inspired by Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetics. During this workshop, you’ll work with two different colors of coarse-textured clay and learn the Japanese neriage technique, combining the clays to create unique, natural marble-like patterns. You’ll then handbuild your own incense holder, shaping the piece and letting the earthy textures and organic patterns become part of its design. The workshop is beginner-friendly, and no previous ceramic experience is needed. We’ll guide you step by step throughout the process and help you discover the beauty of natural textures, simplicity and imperfection. Inspired by earthy materials, quiet winter days and the warm atmosphere created by incense, this is a relaxing creative experience to enjoy by yourself or with friends. Each piece will be completely unique. After the workshop, your incense holder will need to dry and go through the firing process. It will be ready to pick up from the studio a few weeks later, once it has been fully finished.
