Lunch book club on Neurodiversity - ADHD 2.0 by Dr. E. Hallowell & J. Ratey

Join us for an open and engaging discussion of ADHD 2.0: New Science and Essential Strategies for Thriving with Distraction—from Childhood to Adulthood by Dr. Edward Hallowell and Dr. John Ratey. Both authors are leading experts in ADHD and have spent decades working with people with ADHD. Dr. Hallowell is a psychiatrist and one of the world's best-known ADHD specialists, while Dr. Ratey is a psychiatrist and clinical professor at Harvard Medical School. Together, they explore the latest understanding of ADHD and practical strategies for working with the ADHD brain. During our discussion, we’ll explore: • Was the book worth our reading time? • What did we learn? • Which ideas resonated with us? • Did anything challenge our existing understanding of ADHD? • What do we agree or disagree with? • Are the strategies presented actually useful in everyday life? No diagnosis is required to participate. Whether you have ADHD, suspect you might be neurodivergent, know someone who does, or are simply curious about ADHD, you are welcome. We ask everyone to come with curiosity, respect and an open mind. This is a discussion space, not a medical or diagnostic session. The event is free to attend.
